2300 miles of incredible landscapes, dynamic vistas, nice folks, laughs and companionship with friends I had not met. An incredible tour for the money, our tour guide, Harry and bus drivers Chris and Joe were personable, knowledgeable and ..professional throughout the week. A dream come true trip for me and I am so pleased I was able to travel with Tours4Fun. Look forward to my next trip.Read full review
As a couple of Aussies we were a little concerned over the Asian influence of this tour but I can say in all honestly that it wasn't even an issue. The value of this tour is 2nd to none and I have done alot of bus tours. Mark was an excelle..nt tour guide, Kevin was a great driver. The amount of stuff they fit in to a day cannot be matched. You will get long long days - but plenty of variety of foods and accommodation. We had a cabin in Yellowstone, Western casino hotel in Deadwood (it was different but fun) plus good quality (normal) hotels everywhere else. There was no big push for meal packages of a night (like other tours) in fact we were told where to get bargain good quality meals (that saved us money). There was 3 extra tours that cost us $40 each. That was it. Great value. You will do a heap with this tour - be very tired at the end but it is great value for money. The bus have wi-fi and power outlets to recharge. Very modern. We will travel with them again.Read full review
You should check out this tour. It is wonderful and a beautiful experience . You cover a lot of ground and not tiring.
I would definitely go for another tour with tours4fun
My sister and I had a fantastic tour with George and Chris. We seen alot of sites on our tour which was for seven days which started in Denver and consisted of Yellowstone and surrounding areas. The hotels met our standards. We could no..t have done this tour ourselves and seen everything we seen in seven days. The bus was very convenient as you can see much more higher up in the bus and not worry about getting lost or traffic. Our entire tour group really enjoyed the mixture of people on this tour and everybody was well received. Everybody had a great time on this tour. There was not alot of free time but enough time for shopping along the way. I would recommend this tour to anybody. This is the second time we used Tours4fun. In a couple of years we plan on using this tour company again for the Canada trip.

Overall, the trip is fun and enjoyable. My best friend and I do see a lot of landscape, and do learn lot of history. However, our bus is broken down in Dead Wood, and we were stuck there for 5 hours for another bus. Yet, we do totally un..derstand that it wasn't the tour guide fault, so we are not complain about that. Before we head back to Denver, Larry gave each of us $10 back and sorry for any convenience. Larry is super nice, and we are looking forward to have him as our tour guide again in our future tour. I will definitely book the tour through tours4fun.com again.Read full review
We met Larry, our tour guide, at the Denver Airport at the fountain (which is not a working fountain). Just ask any of the information clerks at the airport where it is and they will point you in the right direction. He was very pleasant ..and put us at ease regarding the logistics of the trip we were about to embark on. The bus was very clean and new. You have to handle your own luggage, so pack lightly. There is overhead room on the bus for carryon/camera bags. The larger luggage is put beneath the bus during travel. The bus driver loads and unloads the luggage at each stop, you take it from there to and from your room. The bus makes restroom stops approximately every 1-1/2 - 2 hours during the trips. You need to be tolerant/patient at the food/restroom stops because sometimes there is more than one bus at the rest stop and lines are long (as was the case during our trip). Our tour had 2 busses and there seemed to be another that followed the same route as our bus. Larry was very informative and knowledgeable regarding the tour stops. He gives the information in both English and Chinese. The hotels were not 5-star, but we found them clean and pleasant. (Two even had laundry facilities in them - although at many hotels, we arrived after 7:00 p.m., so not sure how much time one would have to clean their clothes). The Yellowstone cabins are bare-bones; electricity, shower, bathroom, bed...nothing fancy, but we found that to be part of the charm of being with nature. Larry arranges for a wake up call at each hotel, with the exception of the Yellowstone cabin, as there is no phone/no t.v at that cabin. Most - not all hotels had a continental breakfast, but Larry told us which did not have a continental breakfast so we could purchase food items to eat the in the morning, and we stopped at a rest stop within a few hours, so we purchased breakfast then. Larry also informed us when there were grocery stores so that we could buy snacks, etc. to bring on the bus. We had an excellent time and are looking forward to booking another trip. By the way, we Loved Larry. We thought he was very professional, friendly and knowledgable!Read full review

This was a great trip We covered 6 states in 7 days. We stopped at or drove through over 20 major places of interest. Our tour guide, Larry, was excellent. Very organized and provided us with the history of what we were going to visit. Ver..y informative. Larry and our driver, Kevin, were very helpful in keeping us on time and safe. They worked well as a team. They were very helpful to everyone that needed a little extra help getting on or off bus and telling us where ramps were for easier walking. Best trip that I've ever taken. Thanks everyone.Read full review
Met our guide, Larry, at Denver airport. He was easy to find, and we left the airport right on schedule.
The bus was nice, quite new, very clean. Wish the seat backs had had pockets, but they did not. The seats only had fair lumbar ..support, so if this is important, bring a small pillow. There are overhead spaces for extra things needed during the day.
Tour guide Larry did an excellent job. He is a professional and never got rattled when things didn't go just as they should have, which will happen on a tour of this nature. He narrated in Chinese and English and did a good job of balancing this. He gave information about each stop before we got there.
As for luggage, you have to handle your own luggage to and from the bus. (This is not a tour for people who cannot handle their own luggage or climb on and off a bus multiple times a day.)
Our driver, Kevin, was very good and drove smoothly and carefully. He also did a good job loading and unloading all the luggage from the bus.
There is a lot of bus riding on this tour, but you see a lot as well. They stop every 1.5 to 2 hours at the most. Larry showed videos on the bus. It was helpful to see the videos of our next point of interest before we got there. There were also entertainment videos.
It's a wonderful tour, but tiring as well because you are constantly moving.
The hotels/motels were a mixed bag. Some were very nice, and a couple others were not so nice. In particular, the West Yellowstone motel was really not a good place to stay, but the people were nice.Read full review
This was an absolute fantastic trip, George and Chris were wonderful! The only drawback is the accomodations...To say they are lacking is is an understatement!! Two of the Hotels were acceptable, the others greatly lacking (old and complet..e with odors, peeling wallpaper, dirty walls and everything you would not expect or accept traveling on your own...Read full review
My husband and I were very reluctant when we booked this tour. We had read mixed reviews about the experience from various sites. We are very pleased to report that the trip exceeded our expectations in every way. George was a FANTASTIC ..tour guide and John did an exceptional job as our bus driver. The stops along the way were breathtaking which made for a very relaxing week. The schedule was intense; however, the guide was very accomodating for travelers of all ages with frequent breaks and rest stops along the way. We would highly recommend this trip for anyone interested in seeing beautiful scenery and needing a much deserved vacation.Read full review

We are a retired New Zealand couple who joined 51 mandarin speaking fellow travellers plus a few other "pakeha" people like us on the 4 September 2009 tour. We found them very friendly and great travelling companions and our competent tour ..guide, Harry, gave us an excellent commentary in mandarin and english. I nice modern bus also. We enjoyed everything and the tour was very comprehensive...Crazy horse and Mt Rushmore and the Montana museum were most interesting. Yellowstone is one of the greatest places we have ever visited with diverse, beautiful and awesome scenery. Even though NZ has outstanding scenery and similar thermal areas, Yellowstone was as good. Arches national park was wonderful and a highlight and very different to NZ. The accommodaiton was surprisingly good, except in Deadwood, which was about 1 star I reckon...but an interesting old casino nevertheless. This tour is incredibly good value, and Harry, our guide keeps the costs low by stopping for dinner at a choice of cheap retaurants. We thoroughly recommend this tour even if you are Caucasian English speaking wrinklies like us!Read full review
My fiancee and I had a very nice time on this tour. Our guide was punctual and was waiting for us when we arrived in Denver. I really enjoyed visiting the Coors Brewery and taste-testing the wares at the end! Since my wife is half-Native In..dian, she absolutely LOVED seeing Cheyenne and the Crazy Horse Memorial. She took so many pictures there and it was quite the site. Mount Rushmore was so much better in person than it is in books. The hotels we stayed at were pretty nice and the staff was always very friendly. I could have done without the visit to the West Coast Museum as museums are not my favorite places, but the other people on the tour seemed to have a good time there. Devil's Tower was a site that really moved my fiancee and I, it was quite interesting and it felt very spiritual being there. But our favorite part of the tour was Yellowstone National Park and seeing Old Faithful and Mammoth Hot Springs, what a relaxing afternoon! Salt Lake City was all right, but my fiancee wishes there had been more time to go shopping. Overall, the tour was very worthwhile.Read full review
This tour is so hot that we made a reservation almost one month in advance. I love Yellowstone and Grand Teton. The natural sceneries are amazing and the wild animals are very lovely. The most impressive spot, I think, should be the geysers... The other feature of this tour is that you can live in Yellowstone National Park 2 nights. Sounds good? The hotel we lived in was Canyon Lodge. The room was neat and comfortable and we had 2 great nights there. I highly recommend this tour: wonderful and affordable.Read full review
My husband and I visited Yellowstone National Park last week and had an amazing time. However, the geyser Old Faithful was our least favorite attraction. There is so much hype about the geyser that people pack the area when it is predicted ..to erupt. If the geyser has not gone off by the predicted time, people start complaining about how its "late". Then there is a crush of people trying to go all different directions as soon as the eruption is over. Hardly worth the annoyance and effort when there are other geysers just as impressive predicted with good accuracy by the park service, with fewer crowds. My advice is to find out when the geyser is predicted to go off and then head to one of the less visited areas of the park. There is too much beauty to see here than to be stuck on a bench in crowd of thousands. But, the rest of Yellowstone was great and we had a fantastic time.Read full review
