Our group of 10 people used Realistic Asia to plan our 10-day trip to Indochina after researching on social media. The travel consultant we used, Alex, was excellent. When it came to helping us plan our schedule, he was really kind, patient.., and helpful and we effortlessly contacted each other via email or WhatsApp. I worked with many travel agencies before and Alex must be one of the hardest-working travel consultants I’ve worked with since he seemed to be accessible for at least 12 hours a day. Throughout the whole tour, we had excellent, knowledgeable guides at every stop. The biggest challenge for our group was the extremely heavy rain when we got to the South Gate of Angkor Thom - certainly no fault of the company! We acknowledge that it was the rainy season there. Still, the visit was fine. We are happy to recommend this company and will consider them for our future travels.Read full review
Ashley was our booking agent and the initial point of contact. She personalized our vacation from start to finish with simplicity and flexibility, and she was incredibly helpful and professional, so our custom-made adventure was fantastic. ..Well balanced activities and relaxing period from the travel agency. We were extra surprised by the personal presents and the cake for my son’s birthday celebration in Halong bay. Thank you so much! We have traveled much throughout the years, and the service we got from Realistic Asia was exceptional.Read full review
We are grateful to Realistic Asia – a leading travel company for organizing an amazing trip to Indochina. The best part is that we can make modifications based on our preferences. My family was very pleased with the hotel's high standards.. and the company's outstanding service. The allocated guide made every effort to make us feel cared for. His diligence provided us with the greatest paths. We also liked studying architecture and savoring Laos, Vietnamese, and Cambodian local tastes. Moreover, my husband was so thrilled to become my private tour guide because he had been to Halong Bay once before. He looked very enthusiastic about his work and also discussed lots of things with the ‘official’ guide. We had a great time, thank you!Read full review
I just wanted to say that the native guide in Angkor Wat was the finest guide we had on our entire trip. We were really pleased with Puthe since he was incredibly hilarious, kind, experienced, and gave a wealth of knowledge about everything.. we saw. He was also much more engaging during the trip because we were not usually surrounded by huge tourist groups and traveled a different route and located other areas to snap shots that no one else had. In addition to having extensive knowledge and being a joy to be around, he had that particular "service" element about him in terms of local cuisine I wanted to eat or always insisting on getting a shot here or there, and we even stopped at sites that were not on the agenda. Puthe was also really inquisitive about where we were from and even learned things from us, and it was fascinating to hear his perspectives on his nation as well as his comments on ours. I would without a doubt suggest Realistic Asia as a travel operator and Puthe as a tour guide to everyone.Read full review

Just returned from a 10 day tour from Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. We learned a lot of new things about the culture of Indochinese countries. We explored the main points of interest in all 3 countries, bought some handicrafts for family and ..friends. The highlight of the tour was when we boarded on cruise in Halong Bay, where I got so many fantastic photos to post on social media. I must admit that tour guides made it even more incredible by their responsibility and great suggestions. I would recommend using this tour operator, they really do look after everything.Read full review
I just want to share my impression of the local guide in Halong Bay (I’m sorry I don’t know how to write your name properly). He was wonderful and had a lot of photographic knowledge, so I got a lot of gorgeous pictures thanks to his ad..vice. He also shared with me that photography was about more than just the subject, but also the play of light and shadow. I was embarrassed a bit when I learned how little I actually understood about cameras. We had good communication and shared lots of other things. I also learned the history of Halong Bay from him and I must say that he’s really really proud of Vietnam. Other tour guides were excellent too.Read full review
Thank you so much to our tour guides, our agent Long and the tour company for ensuring the trip goes smoothly. For me, the highlights of the trip include Halong Bay and Luang Prabang. It was a wonderful chance for family bonding throughout ..the 2 days 1 night experience on a Halong cruise. Kayaking, swimming, and taking pictures on a boat are the major activities you may do with your family to create lasting memories. Besides, your family will enjoy visiting Luang Prabang. This UNESCO World Heritage Village is incredibly accessible and easily walkable. We did have great time here, thank you again!Read full review
Just finished my Indochina adventure with family of 10 adults and 4 children for 10 days and that was fabulous. I chose this tour after discussing with agent Long from Realistic Asia because I wanted a tour to have activities that were inte..resting for both the elder and the youth. I want to share with you some tips after the trip. First, bring lightweight jackets if you travel from late Aug to Nov because it’s rainy season in the Indochina area. Second, prepare medications if you have motion sickness because the main transportation is the bus. Final, in Vietnam, instead of tissue, they use a spray hose to wipe up after using the toilet. So, learning how to use the "bum washer" is great for you and the kids. It's important to study up on the process and be prepared if your kids aren't used to it. In short, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos are truly family-friendly destinations, we have so many wonderful experiences and great family gathering moments. Thank you Realistic Asia.Read full review
Everything is smooth as silk I must say. The amazing experience of visiting TWO of the Seven Wonders of the world - Angkor Wat and Halong Bay cannot be put into words. I packed my swimsuit but unfortunately we didn’t have any chance to tr..y kayaking in Halong Bay due to unexpected torrential downpours. But the tour guide arranged for us to do other interesting activities on the cruise. I do want to try kayaking in the future. In short, this tour is the best choice to explore Southeast Asia culture. Highly recommend!!!Read full review
Realistic Asia has provided me with excellent service. All of my inquiries were immediately addressed, and the documentation and itinerary were both clear, especially the iVisa process. Very kind and accommodating with schedule adjustments... Although I was first hesitant to work with a tour operator from another country, I was really pleased with their work eventually. Salesman Long did a great job of adjusting our trip to fit our needs.Read full review
DON’T go for this trip if you don’t want to have the BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. We had the pleasure of embarking on an IndoChina tour of Realistic Asia which included Wonders of the world - the Angkor Wat and Halong Bay, a charming and fasci..nating capital of Lao - Vientiane. The reason I gave the tour 5 stars is because all tour guides were so enthusiastic and caring. They appeared to be genuinely engaged in what they were doing. For instance, the local guide in Vientiane helped my mother a lot when she asked to modify the seating arrangement at this lunch restaurant as she had back pain. All of them also took care of other visitors in the group during transferring from one to another place, especially the one who had carsickness. It’s so nice of them. I highly recommend this tour agency for their good guides.Read full review
After reading the positive online reviews of Realistic Asia, my mate and I decided to take this trip, and it really lived up to expectations. Although the amount of time for each nation may be brief, we’re fine with it. I was quite tired ..when I arrived at Mount Phousi since there were only two staircases (each with over 300 stairs) leading to the top of the mountain. When we finally arrived at the stupa, we were all completely satisfied. Phousi was absolutely worth a look, although it was so sacred to some people. We were so happy, and I'm sure that many others will be as well. We will definitely see you one day for sure.Read full review
Indochina countries are so beautiful. They have fascinating lives, fascinating historical artifacts, distinctive cultures, delectable cuisine, and amiable people. We learned new things, toured a magnificent natural setting, and immersed our..selves in Asian culture. The Angkor Wat complex, which I anticipated the most, was still leaving a lasting effect on me. Regarding food, I preferred Vietnamese cuisines the most, especially Pho in Hanoi and seafood in Halong Bay. Definitely 10 best days.Read full review
The entire excursion was suited to my interests. We specifically requested vegetarian cuisine while booking the package that included a cruise and lodging of 4 stars or above! Every time we stopped to eat, all of our tour guides made sure w..e were given vegetarian options. We were quite pleased with the stay, the setting, and accessibility to local markets nearby. Highly appreciate Realistic Asia and Ms. Esther who was always approachable and available.Read full review
The whole trip is fantastic and informative, and it is fit the bill. What I loved best about the tour was that we were able to visit some of the main tourist attractions in all three countries without getting rushed. We stayed on schedule d..espite spending so much time taking photographs at each stop. By the way, thank you to Lucy, a Halong tour guide who was an excellent photographer. This journey, in my opinion, is an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys traveling Southeast Asia.Read full review
