ItineraryWelcome to Luray, Virginia! Today, we will explore the lovely Luray Caverns! In the caverns, we will discover the spectacular geological features of this incredible unearthly location! The caverns contain uniquely shaped Stalactites, which are located in the limestone caves! Fun fact: The Stalactites grow about one inch every 120 years! Which is truly astounding! It is a must-visit destination for anyone of all ages to explore!
Skyline Drive is up next! It is a breathtaking drive through Luray, VA! Skyline Drive overlooks exclusive scenic views of the Shenandoah National Park! On our drive, you will be able to sight the magnificent Crescent Rock, Stoney Man, Franklin Cliffs, and Harry F. Byrd, Sr. Visitor Center and much more! It is truly an adventure you will not want to miss out on!
【Itinerary】
Washington D.C. → Luray Caverns (Optional, 120 mins) → Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park (120 mins) → Washington D.C.- Tips:
Shenandoah National Park Special notes:
* Due to the Skyline Drive located across Shenandoah National Park, we enter from Thornton Gap and drive to north exit, this is a one-way tour and lasts 120 mins.
* On the winding driveway on the mountains, we will stop at the overlooks to observe the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.
* We will also take an easy walk on one of the trails among the mountains. Total 45 for this trail (round trip). If the weather is extreme, the tour leader will cancel the trail trip, and add other stops properly.
* If the weather is extreme, we cannot enter into the National Park.
Admission Fees
Activity Price Additional Information Luray Caverns Tour $34.00/Adult; $17.00/Child(6-12); $32.00/Senior(62+) - All mandatory fees must be paid in cash to the tour guide and tickets cannot be pre-purchased separatedly.
